Rita Sakus is an active business angel investor, board member & advisor in innovative start-ups and is one of the founding members and currently proud board member of best performing ban in Europe for 2022 - the Lithuanian Business Angel Network Lithuanian Business Angel Network LitBAN and recently board member of the European Business Angel Network. Rita is Lithuanian-Canadian born in Toronto and completed a High-tech MBA in Boston. She was responsible for Israel's investments portfolio 21 years ago while working in Corporate Ventures alongside some of the top VCs in the world at the time. She moved to Lithuania bringing her vision of start-up development and innovation and investments to Lithuania in 2002 and taught seminars on venture capital, how to start your own business and how to pitch to vc's at the International School of Management, (ISM) a private Norwegian led business school. Today, she continues to work with educational institutions and has been the final thesis committee chair for the entrepreneurial mba program at Vilnius University for several years.
